RnR San Diego Week 1 Day 3

After 80 minutes (that’s right…80 minutes… instructor kept us over) of spin and a 25 minute run… I AM SO TIRED!

Like….legs dead…wanna sit on the couch and do nothing tired. Like…I sat on the couch and too tired to turn on the TV tired!

I feel great though! That is the weird thing. 

I feel fit.

I feel confident.

I feel accomplished.

I feel beautiful!! 

Dont get me wrong, there is nothing pretty about a 195 pound girl with 20lbs of extra skin sloshing around. I hate the treadmill purely because it is in front of a mirror and I can see my legs create a ripple of skin that abruptly stops and jiggles back down to do it all again with every step. Yes, I am insecure of this extra skin, but every so often I see a little quad muscle under there and it makes me proud! Proud of my hard work and dedication.

So today…my goal was to smile my whole running workout! And I succeeded! I am a strong woman who has worked hard for what she accomplishes! If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!

And that my friends is what I call beautiful:)
